This specific forum has a cool little bonus to it. If you have friends in the clan that you have added in game you can now add them on here or follow them to! All you got to do is go to their profile and follow if you look under the "member section". You can post statuses like Twitter on your profiles too.
The other cool thing is creating your own cartoon avatar kind of like a Me character on the Wii. I have one as an example.

I really like this idea.
It has the twitter / facebook idea with followers and news feed. So keep that updated if you can. Maybe you can update what your doing ingame?
And I like the ability to list facebook / twitter / google+ / youtube and such.
I have listed my FB, Google+, and YouTube. You can feel free to stalk me on any of them.
